HOKLAS Accreditation in Soil (Chemical Testing)

In October 2023, our Environmental & Chemical Department extend the scope of accreditation in HOKLAS under the test category of ‘Construction Materials’ in Soil.  The full set of chemical testing on GEOSPEC 3: 2017 Section 9 was accredited:

 

  • Section 9.1: Determination of Organic Matter Content
  • Section 9.2: Determination of the Mass Loss on Ignition
  • Section 9.3: Determination of Total Sulphate Content of Soils and Sulphate Content of Groundwater and of Aqueous Soil Extracts by Gravimetric Method
  • Section 9.4: Determination of Water-soluble Chloride Content
  • Section 9.5: Determination of the pH Value
